Recorded father: אלי שמוקלער, Eli Shmukler. Reading: the Simcha/Shimkha birth entry uses the name Shmukler for his father. The father’s full patronymic is not expanded from this line here.
Raina Shmukler, 1905 birth entry
Telšiai birth register, female act 19, LVIA 1226/1/2068; FamilySearch film 2328932, DGS 4222295 image 194. Raina was born 7 August 1905 (19 Av 5665) in Alsėdžiai to Rav Moshe Shmuel and Chaya Zak, named in this record as Eliash son of Iosel Shmukler and Khaia daughter of Abel.

Russian transcription of act 19: Эляшъ Іоселевъ Шмуклеръ, жена Хая Абелева. English: Eliash, son of Iosel, Shmukler; his wife Chaya, daughter of Abel. The date pair in the birth entry identifies 7 August 1905 and 19 Av 5665. The death entry below records this child the following year.
Raina Shmukler, 1906 death
Telšiai deaths, female act 16, LVIA 1226/1/2093; FamilySearch DGS 4222301 image 270, page 84. The bilingual original below is a separate source from the Telšiai birth image above. This is the same Raina whose birth is recorded above. She was the daughter of Rav Moshe Shmuel and Chaya Zak.

Reading: Raina Leye, daughter of Eliash Shmukler, died 8 December 1906, aged about one and a half; the death cause is recorded as influenza. The Hebrew name cell identifies a daughter and father. The mother’s name comes from the birth act, not this death line.
This child is a different person from Raina Dubinsky, her first cousin in the Dubinsky branch.

English: Eliash, son of Iosel, a townsman of Ivye, is named as father. A 1912 source entry may use Shmukler while later records call the family Shapiro; those source names are retained without flattening them into one spelling.

The identity of the groom as Rav Moshe Shmuel Shapiro is established by the wider record set, not by expanding an abbreviation in this line.
